Riverside Goes Pink for Breast Cancer Awareness – Location Change!
Riverside is hosting the third annual light the building pink event on Tuesday, September 27, to promote Breast Cancer Awareness in October. All Riverside employees are invited!

The Relay for Life event helps communities in the fight against cancer. Our team’s fundraising goal is $1,000. To join the Riverside Cancer Institute’s team, click here. From there, you will click “Join Our Team” and create your account.
After you have registered, you can share your personal page link on social media to fundraise.
Employees who join our team receive a free t-shirt to wear at Relay for Life.

Congratulations to Brenda McLaren on Retirement!
Congratulations to Brenda McLaren, oncology nurse, on her retirement after 40 years of service at Riverside!
Brenda started at Riverside on the IV team for two years and then worked in surgery for 32 years. For the past six years Brenda has been in oncology.
Thank you Brenda for your 40 years of service to our organization and for the positive impact you have had on so many patients throughout your career! We wish you nothing but the best in retirement.
Riverside Cancer Institute Hosting Free Head & Neck Screening
April is Head & Neck Cancer Awareness Month!
The Riverside Cancer Institute is hosting a free head & neck screening for the community on April 28 from 5:30 to 8 p.m. at the Riverside Health Fitness Center Yoga Studio.
Head & Neck Cancer Risk Factors Include – long-term chronic alcohol use, tobacco use, HPV infection, or a lump in the head or neck that is not going away.
Ear Nose and Throat Specialists will be on-site to schedule a follow-up appointment if the examiner feels further evaluation is needed.

Employees who are survivors or currently battling cancer are encouraged to join us for light refreshments and a short program.
