The Attitude of Gratitude Challenge Is
Coming Soon!

Looking for ideas on how you can pay it forward and make a positive impact on the world? The Attitude of Gratitude Challenge is a way to do just that!

Beginning Aug. 15, you are invited to participate in the Attitude of Gratitude Challenge. Based loosely on the game of bingo, each participant will get a randomized card full of activities to complete.

You may choose the activities you want to complete, but you must earn a bingo in order to complete the challenge and receive 25 Healthy Habit Points.

The challenge runs through Sept. 11, but you will have until Sept. 18 to report for the last week.

Keep your eye out for weekly emails with tips and motivation to help you make the most of the challenge. Be sure to explore the wellness portal as well for resources and tools to keep you going.

Good Night, Sleep Right Reach Challenge

March is National Sleep Awareness Month, and to celebrate, Riverside is holding a sleep challenge starting Monday, March 7, through the Reach Program.

The Good Night Sleep Right Challenge runs from March 7 through April 3. To complete the challenge and earn 25 Healthy Habit Points, you need to report at least 75 activities before the challenge ends.

Activities include:

• Sleep seven to nine hours each night.
• Turn off electronics two hours before bed.
• Avoid caffeine after noon.
• Avoid eating within an hour before bed.
• Get 20 minutes of relaxation or physical activity.

*Earn a bonus activity for each day you complete all five of the activities above!

You will have until April 10 to finish reporting your activities. You can record your Good Night, Sleep Right
activities on your desktop or mobile device. Visit www.RiversideHealthcare.org/REACH to log in and
begin recording your activities on March 7!

2022 REACH Program

The REACH portal not only offers the chance to improve your health, but also helps you earn your 2023 Incentive. Employees and spouses may participate in all three levels.


Level 1 – Due Aug. 31
Benefit eligible employee and insured spouse must complete the following:

  • 2022 Participation Consent Form
  • Online Health Risk Assessment
  • Upload Primary Care Well Visit Form with REACH lab measures
    • Note: REACH Labs must be completed at least 24 hours prior to your PCP wellness visit.

Health Insurance Premium Credit

  • $780 Employee
  • $520 Spouse*

*Employee must complete Level 1 for a spouse to be eligible for spousal credit. All credits are applied to the employee health plan premium.

Employee Financial Incentive $100


Level 2 – Due Dec. 15
Benefit eligible employee and insured spouse must complete the following:

  • Meet 2 out of 3 Key Health Targets
         OR
  • Make a 5% improvement from 2021 in Key Target
         OR
  • Complete an Alternative Standard for the missed Key Target

2022 Key Health Targets

  1. BP ≤ 140/90
  2. A1C < 5.7
  3. BMI ≤25 or Men’s Waist less than 40” – Women less than 35”

Additional Employee Financial Incentive: $300

Additional Spouse Incentive: Raffle entry for a chance to win an Apple Watch

(Winner will be chosen in Dec. 2022)


Level 3 – Due Dec. 15
Benefit eligible employee and insured spouse must complete the following:

  • Self-report 120 Healthy Habit Points in 2022
  • Mammogram is required as part of these points for women 40 years and older

Additional Employee Financial Incentive: $120

Additional Spouse Incentive: Raffle entry for a chance to win a $50 gift card (Winner will be chosen in Dec. 2022)

Employee and Spouse: Health Premium Credit $1300 / Financial Incentive $520
