After 52 years working at Riverside Mary Girot is ready to try retirement

Mary Girot is retiring after 52 years with Riverside. Girot began her career at Riverside as a nurse’s aid in September of 1968 as part of a high school program. Two years later in 1970 she became a ward clerk, a position that is now referred to as a unit secretary. She held that position until earlier this year. Girot’s final position at Riverside was as a lobby attendant.

Mary, Congratulations on your retirement! Thank you for being a tireless professional, a helpful coworker, and amazing part of the history of Riverside. Best wishes on your new chapter in life.
